I recently ran a survey with one simple question: "Do you consider pit bulls to be a "dangerous" or "bad" breed?
Out of the fifteen random people who I surveyed, five answered "yes" and ten answered "no". Therefore, one-third of people believe that pit bulls are "dangerous" or "bad".
This is definitely a step in the right direction! This was a way better response than I had thought it would be, and I'm hopeful that my presentation influenced some people's views on pit bulls.
However, we still have a long way to go! The ultimate goal is to get everyone to have the mindset that pit bulls are not a bad breed, and only become vicious when they are emotionally scarred by their owners.
